WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

THE HOME OF AFTERNOON TEA and HOME BAKING LESSONS!

My aim is to keep the lovely tradition of Afternoon Tea alive in the home – and not just in tea rooms – though I’m not knocking tea rooms!

The tradition of afternoon tea is a very special part of English culture that dates back to the reign of Queen Victoria.

Come and learn how to make a real traditional afternoon tea party.

LEARNING AND PLEASURE COMBINED!

NOTHING TO BRING – EXCEPT YOUR SMILE!

Here you will find everything you need to know about my Afternoon Tea  Lessons (Tuesdays) and Baking Lessons {Wednesdays).

You can take a look at some of the photographs from some of the classes, read press cuttings and even see what students have to say on the testimonials link!

As spaces are limited to a maximum of eight people (six for Baking classes)  it is advisable to book as much in advance as possible but sometimes last minute bookings are available!

To find out when the next available class is, and for details of all my classes, please click on Class Schedules

I hope you enjoy your stay.

Warm Regards

Giuliana Orme

This time last year, I visited Tokyo and was lucky enough to be there for the wonderful Cherry Blossom season!  This year, I have just visited Seoul in South Korea and enjoyed giving an Afternoon Tea Lesson at a wonderful Tea House in  Seoul,  called: Books Cooks owned by a very dear ex student, Jeong Young Soon (see my Recommended Sites.)

Please also see some updates and photos on my Facebook page here

ALTHOUGH  LAST YEAR WAS SUCH A MAJOR YEAR FOR THE UK, WITH OUR DIAMOND JUBILEE  CELEBRATIONS AND THE AND OLYMPICS ……..

REMEMBER – IT IS ALWAYS A GREAT TIME TO VISIT LONDON  AND  TO  COME AND ENJOY ALL THE CULTURE THAT IT HAS TO OFFER – THEATRE,  CONCERTS, MUSEUMS  (LOTS OF THEM ARE FREE )  NOT TO MENTION ALL THE HISTORICAL BUILDINGS  AND  GREAT RESTAURANTS OF EVERY NATIONALITY!

OF COURSE I’D ALSO LOVE YOU TO JOIN ME AT MY AFTERNOON TEA AND BAKING CLASSES IN MY VICTORIAN HOME (1860) IN ST JOHN’S WOOD, NEAR THE FAMOUS BEATLES ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS!

GIFT VOUCHERS are now available for all of my classes – just email me!

My book ‘Afternoon Tea at Home Made Simple’ is available to buy in the shops or you are welcome to buy a copy from me at a special student discount price of £12.00! If you ask me, I will be happy to sign your copy.
